The 58.2-metre Trinity Yachts motor yacht Carpe Diem has joined the market with Lon McCloskey and Stuart Larsen of Fraser.
Built in aluminium by American yard Trinity Yachts in 2011, to designs by Geoff Van Aller, the yacht was extensively refitted in 2024 and has been owned by the same owner since new. Interior design is by Carol Williamson.
Her interior is described as "striking Art Deco" by the brokers. Sleeping a party of 12, accommodation includes a full-beam master suite with his-and-hers bathrooms, private study and lounge area positioned on the main deck, the bed being positioned transversely. The lower deck offers a flexible layout with two full-beam suites – one of which can be divided into two cabins – and two further double cabins. Light-coloured carpets and soft furnishings are contrasted by rich dark woodwork.
Formal dining is taken at the table in the forward part of the open-plan saloon and al fresco dining on the upper deck aft of the skylounge that features a curved, six-person, sit-up bar in one corner. Furniture is contemporary and the comfortable chairs around the 12-seater dining table on deck invite guests to linger.
Up on the sundeck is a raised oval-shaped Jacuzzi, positioned forward and surrounded by sunpads, all protected from the wind by glass screens. A further seating area with good views ahead is sunken into the foredeck.
The 749GT, ABS-classed yacht for sale has a top speed of 21 knots and cruising speed of 17 knots, with a range of 5,000 nautical miles. Her engines were rebuilt in 2024 and have a five-year warranty.
She has built up a good charter reputation in the Mediterranean, Bahamas and Caribbean.
Carpe Diem is lying in Fort Lauderdale, USA and asking $32,500,000.
