The 30.21 metre Swan sailing yacht Aquarius Alfa, listed for sale by Alastair Shove at Carrswood Yachts, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Declan O’Sullivan of Pelagos Yachts.
Designed by German Frers, she was built in GRP by Finnish yard Nautor’s Swan to Bureau Veritas class and delivered in 2005 with a refit in 2015. She is the first in this series to feature the ‘Semi-Raised Saloon’ configuration incorporating a sleek low-level coach roof. This modern deck configuration allows for a spacious four guest cabin interior for eight guests including a full-beam master cabin aft. There are also quarters for four crew aboard.
The main saloon offers a dining table for eight guests plus a comfortable sofa with coffee table. On deck, the main cockpit area is midships and has convertible dining tables and sofas on either side. The aft cockpit is for navigation and sail control with twin helm positions.
On the technical side, she has an Offshore Spars carbon fibre mast and Park Avenue boom, with three hull windows on either side, in the saloon, aft cabins and master suite.
Under power, a 265hp Perkins Sabre diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of 9 knots.
Aquarius Alfa was asking €3,950,000 with VAT paid.
