Good news from from Harry Bristow-Holmes at Sunseeker London that he acted for buyer and seller in the sale of the 24.97m motor yacht Champneys.
Built by UK superyacht yard Sunseeker, Champneys was launched in 2006 as a Sunseeker Predator 82 model and is probably one of the only 82s to be retrofitted with TRAC zero speed stabilisers. An interior in satin cherry wood accommodates eight guests in four cabins including a master suite aft, a forward VIP stateroom and two twin cabins plus three crew.
Features include an electric barbecue for al fresco dining and an electric canopy over the aft cockpit. A successful charter yacht, she is fully MCA coded and compliant to Commercial Vessel Safety Standard (SOLAS) regulations. Twin 1,652hp Caterpillar V12 diesel engines allow her to cruise comfortably at 22 knots.
The yacht will remain in the South of France where her new owner intends to keep her on the charter market under her new name of XDM.
Champneys was asking €925,000.
