The 24.8-metre motor yacht Big Mama has been sold, with Martin Holmes of Northrop & Johnson representing the seller and Asia Yachting representing the buyer.
Built of GRP in Australia by Riviera Yacht, who delivered her in 2022, the yacht, finished in "Gulfstream Blue", was designed by Italian architect Luca Vallebona.
Big Mama accommodates seven guests in four cabins, including a full-beam master suite with walk-in wardrobe, his-and-hers sinks and a rain shower. The remaining cabins are comprised of one VIP cabin and one twin cabin, with the fourth cabin set up as an office - concealing a Pullman berth in its aft bulkhead. Big Mama's interior is described by her broker as a blend of "style and practicality".
The well-appointed galley and main saloon are entered via "electronic sliding glass doors" - the saloon area is positioned forward and offers guests a custom sofa with ottoman to starboard and a chaise longue to port. A large television is hidden in the ceiling and is connected to the navigation equipment, should guests wish to view charts and cruising information.
Big Mama's upper saloon is furnished with a white leather sofa, conveniently close to the wet bar. The enclosed flybridge, with commanding views, sports three helmseats abreast as well as a sofa and electrically opening side windows and sunroof. A teak-laid swim platform at the stern, large enough to stow a tender, is used for embarking the watertoys and the garage – fitted with Fusion sound system – is accessible through the transom hatch.
She has a maximum speed of 31 knots, cruising speed of 24 knots and a range of 506 nautical miles - powered by twin 1,800hp MAN diesel engines.
Big Mama was asking $4,050,000.
