The 40.2-metre Princess motor yacht Ace 2 has been sold with Matthew Albert of Superyacht Partners representing the buyer and Yannick Altevolmer of Drettmann Yachts representing the seller.
Built in GRP by UK yard Princess, the teak-decked Ace 2 was delivered in 2015 and is one of eight 40M models. She was designed by Bernard Olesinski who was also the naval architect, while interior design was by Fendi Casa, along with Princess Design Studio.
Accommodation is for a party of 10 guests in five cabins, looked after by a crew of up to eight. Marble was used to "individualise" each bathroom. The master en suite uses the rare Nero Portoro marble in the shower to contrast with neutral marble for the bath and flooring. Her "timeless luxury" theme was created with the use of gloss cherry wood combined with classic cream leathers, fabrics and furniture is accented with bright velvets and satins.
In the main deck saloon all of the furniture, seating, lighting, fabrics and accessories are finished with the Fendi marque. The dining area has a Macassar ebony table, which is back-lit by an onyx panel to the bulkhead, and can accommodate 10 guests.
The 395GT yacht has a top speed of 23 knots and cruising speed of 18 knots under twin MTU diesels. Range is 2,100 nautical miles. Matthew Albert pointed out that the sale was the 12th yacht Superyacht Partners has sold to date in 2024.
Ace 2 was last asking €12,900,000 with VAT paid and lying in Imperia, Italy.
