A €1,000,000 price drop has been announced on the 39.4-metre Perini Navi sailing yacht State of Grace, listed for sale with Cornelius Gerling and Bruce Brakenhoff of Edmiston, as she heads to the Monaco Yacht Show.
State of Grace was built in aluminium to a design by renowned naval architect Ron Holland, in collaboration with Perini Navi, and delivered as the first unit in the shipyard's 40M Fast Cruising series.
Her layout has been tweaked, during a 2022 to 2023 refit, and the newly upgraded interior sports a number of artworks from the owner's private collection. The full-beam master suite aft still boasts its own Turkish Hammam steam shower, while a pull-out cross-trainer and gym have also been retained.
There are a further three guest cabins, two of which are doubles with ensuites, and the third aft starboard cabin can be used as a twin or a double, also having a Pullman berth. Crew quarters accommodate a team of six.
An expansive split-level main saloon boasts a comfortable seating and dining area, while the cockpit provides options for al fresco dining under the shade of a Bimini top. The lower saloon has wonderful headroom thanks to the split-level design, creating two social areas on the main and lower decks.
The dining room, on the lower level, has direct access to the galley, a stainless-steel affair with professional cooking block, which provides the perfect environment for the chef. The exterior features teak decks, a swimming platform aft, plus a side boarding ladder for ease of embarkation to the tender.
State of Grace is equipped with state-of-the-art EC6+ carbon fibre rigging combined with the Southern Spars carbon Hybrid Modulus mast and boom providing significant savings in weight. An updated generation of Perini Navi’s captive reel winches can hold 12 tonnes and rewind 35 metres of sheets per minute. The automatic furling system for all foresails is by Bamar and positioned under the deck to optimise deck space. Under power, a 671hp caterpillar diesel engine gives her a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.
The 254GT yacht for sale's 17-tonne lifting centreboard draws 9.1 metres, giving stability and lift when sailing upwind, and it can be raised to a draft of 3.5 metres when entering a port or shallower anchorages. Her transom folds down to form a large swim platform. She completed her 10-year ABS survey in May 2023 and is MCA compliant with a proven charter track record.
State of Grace is now asking €8,500,000 and will be attending the Monaco Yacht Show.
