Palmer Johnson motor yacht Asha sold

The 27.07 metre motor yacht Asha, listed for sale by Pam Barlow at Luke Brown Yachts, has been sold in an in-house deal.

Built in aluminium by US yard Palmer Johnson to a design by Vripack, she was delivered in 1992 with several refits since, the most recent being in 2015. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins consisting of a full beam master suite plus identical port and starboard twins, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, three crew are accommodated in two en suite cabins.

Asha was asking $2,575,000

The saloon has extra large windows to maximize the daylight coming in and is panelled in rich cherry wood. Aft to port is a bar with storage for glassware and forward is a semi circular settee facing a coffee table while to starboard is an entertainment centre including a 54 inch retractable television screen and stereo surround sound. Forward, the fully equipped galley has a starboard dinette for informal sociable snacks.

The aft deck has all the amenities for al fresco entertaining and dining, including a built in L-shaped settee to port facing a varnished table to starboard with six matching chairs. Up in the flybridge there is a fixed hard top and isinglass removable curtains providing shelter from inclement weather. Forward are three helm chairs and there is also ample seating, a cocktail table and a wet bar to port.

Twin 380hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 10 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles.

Asha was asking $2,575,000.
