The 36-metre Ocean King motor yacht Vayus is newly listed for sale with Gabriele Modica Ragusa of Northrop & Johnson and Stefano Falaschi of Futura Yachts.
Delivered from Italian yard Ocean King in 2023, the Ducale 120 model was built of steel and aluminium and is described by the broker as an explorer yacht. She was designed by VYD Studio.
Her engineering design included extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEM) to optimise the structure and allow for enormous floor-to-ceiling windows, custom structural elements, glass bulwarks and cantilevered decks. The windows in the main saloon can open on three sides making for an airy experience when required.
Accommodation is provided for a party of 10 in five cabins and there are quarters for a crew of seven. The upper deck features a flexible cinema area that can be opened up to the sea breeze or enclosed and air-conditioned.
Guests can choose between a glass-backed saltwater Jacuzzi at the transom or a freshwater one up on the sundeck where there is also a bar. Further seating is found on the foredeck.
The 358GT RINA-classed yacht for sale is powered by twin MAN diesel engines, giving her a long 5,500- to 6,000-nautical-mile range at 9.5 knots and top speed of 14 knots. Her garage is large enough for a 5.65-metre Williams jet tender.
Vayus is asking €16,500,000 and lying in Italy.
