The new build 29 metre motor yacht currently named the Icon 100, listed for sale by Yachtzoo in Monaco, has had a €1,000,000 price reduction
The steel hull and aluminium superstructure are now complete at the Dutch yard Icon Yachts to a design by Ken Freivokh and she can be completed in 18 months from signature of contract. Accommodation is configured as three cabins hosting six guests, although her interior remains open to a new owner’s plans.
An innovative application of new propulsion technologies allows for a near silent and much smoother cruising experience. The twin Hydrosta (PM prop 225) electrically driven, azimuthing thrusters are powered by lithium ion NMC batteries, Scania Di 9M generators or a combination of the two. This fuel efficient and revolutionary design gives her a transoceanic range of 2,200 nautical miles.
The systems of this yacht for sale are designed to work in harmony creating a smoother, quieter ride with no noise or vibration - both underway and at anchor - complemented by cancelling of motion sickness through the two-fin cruise and zero speed stabilisation system.
With privacy and smart technology high on the agenda, the Icon 100 combines the stunning craftsmanship and maritime heritage for which the shipyard is known into a highly efficient space, yet at a size that is practically unheard of for a custom-build Dutch shipyard of this calibre.
Her broker, Neal Bateman at Yachtzoo, comments: “Beyond technological advances and a striking exterior profile, the Icon 100 offers impressive interior space in an arrangement that gives the feeling of being on a much larger superyacht."
The Icon 100 is now down to €9.5 million.
