The 40.4 metre motorsailer Vay has been listed for sale by Vedat Kohen at Thompson, Westwood & White.
Built in laminated iroko wood by Turkish yard Su Marine to a design by Taka Yachts, Vay was delivered in 2013 as a cruising ketch. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins configured as a master suite, two VIP suites and two doubles, all with Bose stereo surround sound systems and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, the crew quarters sleep four members of staff aboard this yacht for sale.
A blend of tradition and modernity, Vay was designed in keeping with the comfortable layout of a Turkish gulet motorsailer, while fully embracing modern systems and styling. Her hull has efficient flat sections midships, a finer bow and fuller stern along with a relatively shallow long keel providing stability for extended cruises under sail.
Outside, she has a large sunbathing and lounge area located on the foredeck, with a separate area including a table and seating for more relaxation and entertainment. Aft is a covered al fresco dining area, perfect for intimate dining with beautiful views, as well as an additional lounging area. Under power, twin Scania 600hp D112 60 diesel engines allow a relaxed cruising speed of 11 knots.
Lying in Turkey, Vay is asking €4,850,000.
