The 25.6 metre motor yacht Jumbo has changed central agencies and is now listed for sale by Jeroen van der Vliet at Van der Vliet Quality Yachting.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Moonen to a design by Diana Yacht Design, Jumbo was delivered in 1990 as the fourth of six yachts in the yard’s Moonen 85 series. She boasts an impeccable pedigree, having been owned by the late Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and frequently used by the Dutch royal family. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite and three twins, all with en suite facilities.
Her present owner had her completely refitted in 2010/2011 and she has been kept in immaculate condition since. The main saloon, panelled in classic teak, is open plan with a relaxation area and entertainment system aft, an elegant formal dining area and a closed galley.
Spacious and comfortable deck areas have been redesigned by her current owner in order to create more deck space, all with safe sea railings. The sun deck is perfect for al fresco entertaining and dining with comfortable seating, a new electric barbecue and a bar. Uniquely, she has a system of awnings that can entirely shade the sun deck, giving guests shelter from the sun. Twin 409hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 10 knots and a transatlantic range.
Broker Jeroen van der Vliet comments: “As one of Moonen’s ‘pocket superyachts’ she has a reputation for seaworthiness, comfort and safety.”
Jumbo is asking €1,490,000.
