The 25.7-metre ketch-rigged sailing yacht Windweaver of Pennington is newly for sale with Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage.
Built of steel in the UK by Midship Boat Services, she was designed by Edward Sharatt and Robert Clark and delivered in 1998.
Windweaver of Pennington accommodates up to seven guests in three spacious cabins. Her cosy interior feels warm and secure and, with its small portholes, gives guests confidence when cruising in harsh environments. Interior finishes are light and the layout is seamanlike with plenty of handholds and rounded corners. The helm station in the deckhouse is well protected from the elements but with excellent visibility. The deep cockpit, with table, also feels snug, immediately aft.
Upgrades include a new generator in 2018, new furling boom and mainsail in 2019 and a hull repaint in 2021.
Under power, the "go-anywhere" yacht for sale, with a 3.4-metre draft, cruises at 8 knots with a range of 2,500 nautical miles, under a 215hp Perkins diesel. The broker pointed out that her owner has maintained her well, under the same captain for the past seven years.
Windweaver is asking €850,000 with VAT paid and is lying in Sète, France.
