The 42 metre motor yacht AMZ, listed for sale by Yannis Mitsopoulos and Marco Vandoni at Ocean Independence, has been sold with Thanos Skliris at Yacht Nation introducing the buyer.
With naval architecture by Per Kavli, she was built in aluminium by Swedish yard Marinteknik Verkstad to DNV class with delivery in 1989 and has had several extensive refits over the course of her life, the most recent being in 2009.
With an interior by H2 Design, AMZ accommodates up to 11 guests in six cabins. Her owners' suite on the main deck forward is particularly spectacular, with an en suite marble bathroom, Jacuzzi bath, separate rainforest shower, and superb views through panoramic picture windows forward. Below decks are a VIP suite, two doubles and two twins, all with entertainment centres, 26 inch Samsung LCD television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
The main deck saloon has wooden floors, an L-shaped settee to port with armchairs and an entertainment centre to starboard including a 39 inch Panasonic television screen. Forward is a dining area with seating for eight guests,
The sky lounge is given over to pure relaxation, with comfortable seating, coffee tables and a bar while the aft deck on this level has two tables and directors’ chairs for al fresco dining under the moonlight or a dip in the Jacuzzi tub.
More outdoor dining is available on the main aft deck with seating for 10 guests in upholstered teak freestanding chairs.
Powered by twin 1,240hp MTU engines with water-jet propulsion, AMZ has a range of 2,200 nautical miles at 13 knots and can reach speeds of up to 20 knots.
