The 46.6-metre Inace explorer yacht Far Far Away has been sold in an in-house deal with Peter Redford and Eugenio Cannarsa of Fraser representing the seller and David Legrand representing the buyer.
Built in steel and aluminium to a design by Luiz de Basto, Far Far Away was delivered in 2012 as a 36.7-metre explorer. In 2019, she underwent an extensive two-year refit which saw the yacht extended by 10 metres at the Lusben shipyard in Italy.
The extension included the addition of an eight-metre segment amidships and a 1.5-metre extension of the bow and stern. As a result, the main deck now offers 120 square metres of space for toys and tenders that can be launched and recovered by a 2.5-tonne crane.
Elsewhere, the yacht’s propulsion system was upgraded with two 99kW CAT generators that allow Far Far Away to travel 8,500 nautical miles without stopping to refuel and will grant the adventurous new owner up to three months of autonomous cruising. All the yacht’s on board systems, including electric and safety, were completely upgraded, as well as the installation of a new watertight door and stern thruster.
Despite being charter compliant, this yacht has been used only privately since her launch in 2012. She can accommodate up to 12 guests in total with accommodation configured as a master suite, two VIP cabins, four twins and one Pullman berth. The full-beam owner’s suite is placed in the centre of the vessel for maximum comfort and has extensive storage and hanging closet space for extended cruising. The guest staterooms are large and have all the amenities needed for guests to be comfortable on long visits to remote areas.
There is also extensive storage space for dry goods, frozen food and refrigerated goods. Outdoors, she has extensive deck and lounging spaces with a huge flybridge and several sheltered locations for al fresco entertaining and dining.
Far Far Away was last asking €11,950,000.
