The 60 metre motor yacht Arkley, listed for sale by Imperial Yachts in Monaco, has been sold with Burgess introducing the buyer.
Built in steel and aluminium by German yard Lurssen to a design by Espen Oeino, she was delivered in 2009 and went on to win the coveted Yacht of the Year trophy at the 2010 World Superyacht Awards.
Lloyds classed and MCA compliant, a luxurious interior by Mark Berryman accommodates 12 guests in six well appointed double cabins including a magnificent full beam master suite, a VIP suite and four double cabins, with two of them convertible to twins. All cabins have full entertainment systems including television screens and all have en suite shower facilities.
A large main deck saloon has a drop down cinema screen in front of comfortable seating, ultra modern audio visual equipment, a well stocked library and even a baby grand piano. Custom settees and loungers are perfect for relaxing and watching the scenery through the full height aft windows. Adjacent to the saloon is an elegant formal dining room with seating for14 guests.
The sun deck comes with a spa pool, gym, onyx topped bar and a casual lounge area with uninterrupted panoramic views. Further aft, a seating area incorporates a wide screen television screen and has all the facilities for al fresco dining. Twin Caterpillar 3512B DITA engines give her a range of 5,000 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots and she is fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilizers.
