The 41 metre motor yacht Claudius has been sold, with James Frangi and Konstantinos Ladas at SSH Maritime acting for the seller and Maxim Ryabenkov at Azimut Yachts Russia introducing the buyer.
Built in GRP by Taiwanese yard Horizon Yachts to a design by Gregory C Marshall, Claudius was delivered in 2007 and is DNV classed. She is also MCA compliant with generous accommodation for 10 guests in five cabins consisting of an upper deck master suite with a personal lounge area including a 50 inch television screen and private bar, a split level VIP suite on the main deck and three guest cabins below deck, all with full en suite bathroom facilities.
A large 70 square metre saloon, clad in elegant wood panelling, has comfortable seating, a bar, an entertainment system including a 50 inch television screen, and leads to a dining area with seating for 10 guests plus a pantry with massive storage capacity. The aft deck is another capacious area and offers seating for 10 guests dining al fresco with the aid of a barbecue, fridge, ice maker and an outdoor television screen. Twin sets of stairs lead down to the swim platform with a hydraulic ladder into the sea.
Up on the flybridge, guests are offered the choice of two separate seating areas, a bar, fridge, ice maker, television, Jacuzzi tub and sun pads, all shaded when necessary by two hydraulic sun awnings. Twin 1,370hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and she is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.
Lying in Athens, Greece, Claudius was asking $7.9 million.
