The 43 metre Hakvoort motor yacht Prediction has been sold with both buyer and seller represented by Chris June at Worth Avenue Yachts.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Hakvoort to a design by Felix Buytendijk, she was delivered in 1991 and most recently refitted in 2017. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins comprising a main deck master suite, VIP suite, two doubles and a twin, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
On the main deck, a Georgian-style door, glazed with bevelled glass, leads to the main deck saloon. This formal and comfortable area is divided into two distinct ambiances by way of a pair of low cupboards, separating one zone for dining and another for the lounge. The dining area is forward and features a circular table with leaf insert for additional guests. The table is surrounded by mahogany topped sideboards and glass-fronted cabinets for china, glassware and cutlery.
Up on the sun deck there is a built-in settee forward with a teak table for guests to dine al fresco while observing the journey, a day head built into the centre signal mast and a Whirlpool Jacuzzi dip pool aft with two built-in sun pads port and starboard. Over this area there are three sail shade sun awnings to protect guests from the sun. Twin 750hp Caterpillar diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 12 knots topping out at 14 knots.
Prediction was asking $8,900,000.
