The 30.6 metre motor yacht Spirit of Ashanti, listed for sale by Jeremy Bottau at Ocean Independence, has had a €350,000 price reduction, bringing her below the €1 million mark.
Built in GRP by Italian yard Tecnomarine to a design by Gerhard Gilgenast, she was delivered in 1998 and is RINA classed. The interior, by Rosalla Federigi, is decorated in shades of cream and brown with dark wooden floors, and accommodates up to 10 guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite, double and twin with two Pullman berths, all with en suite bathroom facilities.
A large open plan main saloon has a lounge area with sofas and armchairs grouped around a statement dark wood coffee table and features a state of the art entertainment system along with a formal dining area forward for six guests around an oval glass topped table. The overall theme is comfortable and relaxing, with no nods to modern ideas of minimalist design.
Outside, the large aft deck has wicker chairs and a table for al fresco entertaining and dining while two stairways aft to port and starboard curve down to a broad swim platform. The sun deck is vast and features a large U-shaped seating area, sun pads and a wet bar with four bar stools while behind the radar mast there is storage space for the tenders of this yacht for sale.
Spirit of Ashanti has had multiple refits over the years, most notably in 2003 and 2006, and could carve out a lucrative career as a charter yacht, given her huge outdoor spaces.
Twin 1,960hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 24 knots.
Lying in Barcelona, Spain, yacht for sale Spirit of Ashanti is now asking €950,000.
