The 26.6-metre Frers sailing yacht Tulip has changed central agencies and is now listed for sale with Jaap Havenga at Northrop & Johnson and Bart de Ven International Yacht Brokerage.
Designed by German Frers, who also completed the naval architecture, Tulip was built in aluminium by Dutch yard K & M Yachtbuilders and delivered in 2012 as the flagship of the yard. She completed a comprehensive 10-year refit in 2023 to ensure she "remains in top condition", including a full exterior paint job, a machinery overhaul and numerous upgrades.
The interior, designed by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design, accommodates six guests, in a master suite forward and two guest cabins, plus a crew of two. Light materials were also used to limit the total weight, Tulip having a displacement of only 52 tonnes.
The wheelhouse is the central living space on board, with a dining table, card table, television screen, library and refrigerator. The cockpit is spacious and teak lined, as is the rest of the deck. Tulip is equipped with a carbon rig with a maximum sail area of 696 square metres, and a lifting keel with variable draught from 3.2 metres to 5.1 metres.
Under power, a 215hp Perkins diesel engine gives the yacht for sale a cruising speed of 10 knots.
Other technical highlights include extensive soundproofing and insulation for a "remarkably quiet experience even with all systems running," according to the broker.
Tulip is asking €2,950,000.
