The new second-hand division of Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche has sold the 31.1 metre explorer yacht Galego representing buyer and seller.
Built in steel and aluminium, Galego sports exterior design and naval architecture by Hydro-Tec, and was delivered in June 2017 as a Darwin 102 model. Pierluigi Floris created a warm and welcoming interior style for Galego, with Hermes wallpaper, walnut wood panelling, leather wall linings from Poltrona Frau and selected pieces from Minotti and Baxter.
Accommodation is for eight guests in four staterooms, including a master suite, VIP suite and two twin cabins, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities. Meanwhile, the crew quarters allow for a staff of up to seven people.
Key customisations include higher 2.18 metre headroom inside for a total interior volume of 244GT, while the sun deck has been split into two distinct areas: a lounge and a fitness area.
Power comes from a pair of Caterpillar diesel engines for a top speed of 13.6 knots, while the electric fin stabiliser system ensures a smooth cruising experience. When trimmed back to ten knots, she boasts a globetrotting maximum range of 5,900 nautical miles, drawing on a total fuel capacity of more than 40,000 litres.
Galego was asking €8,900,000.
