The venerable 26 metre Thetis sailing yacht Sky has been listed for sale by Engel & Volkers Yachting.
Built with a mahogany hull on oak frames and teak superstructure by British yard Thetis Ware, Sky was delivered in 1890 as a gaff rigged yawl. She was brought back to her original condition during an extensive restoration in Spain carried out from 1997 to 1999. A second comprehansive refit was carried out from 2008 to 2014 during which she received modern equipment and 27 of her oak frames were replaced, and she was refitted once again in 2021.
Her completely new interior in Honduras mahogany accommodates four guests in an owner’s suite and a guest cabin, both sharing bathroom facilities.
Interior spaces and accommodation are accessed via a doghouse located at the centerline on the yacht, leading to a welcoming saloon with a large teak table at the centre.
She is equipped with a comprehensive set of navigation and communication equipment, suitable for longer trips at sea, and is powered by a single 220hp Mercruiser diesel engine allowing a cruising speed of 8 knots.
On display at the Palma Superyacht Show, Sky is asking €1,685,000.
