The 29.8-metre Picchiotti motor yacht R. Paolucci, listed for sale with Yachtzoo, has had a further price reduction of €500,000.
The classic wooden yacht was delivered in 1970 and boasts a colourful history, having served in the Italian Navy as well as being designated as the yacht on which the Presidency of the Italian Republic would host meetings, parties and special events. She was named after Raffaele Paolucci, an Italian doctor, soldier and politician, who fought in both World Wars and was decorated as a war hero.
Paolucci underwent a comprehensive refit in 2006 and was again meticulously restored in 2018 to ensure modern comforts for her new owners on board.
Designed by Picchiotti with interiors by Cantieri del Tevere, the RINA-classed superyacht can accommodate up to 10 guests in five en suite cabins, all of which are equipped with air conditioning and a Bang & Olufsen stereo system. There is also accommodation for five members of crew on board. Her interiors are light and airy, finished with white wood panelling and Burma teak.
Above deck, there are a number of spaces dedicated to outdoor living including two sundecks and a flybridge measuring 80 square metres. Each area is equipped with cushions for sunbathing and custom-designed sofas for relaxing and socialising. There is also a drinks bar and dining table for al fresco entertaining.
There is also ample toy storage on board R. Paolucci. She carries two tenders, a pair of SeaBobs and Jet Skis, stand-up paddle boards and various towables and watersports equipment including diving gear.
Powered by two MAN D2862 V12 1,800 hp engines, R. Paolucci can reach a top speed of 27 knots. At a cruising speed of 14 knots she offers a range of 375 nautical miles. She is offered for sale following a 2022 refit.
R. Paolucci is now asking €2,500,000 with VAT paid.
