The 34 metre Canados motor yacht Y42 has been sold by Mark Seaton at Yacht & Villa, who represented the seller, with Dimitris Molflesis of DM Yachts introducing the buyer.
Built in GRP/Kevlar by Italian yard Canados to an in-house design and RINA classed, Y42 was delivered in 2008 and most recently refitted in 2018/2019. A generous interior by Salvagni Architetti accommodates 10 guests in five cabins laid out as a main deck master suite, three doubles and a twin. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep five.
An open-plan saloon has comfortable seating on large settees to port and starboard and comes with a full bar, ice maker and an entertainment centre including a large television screen on a rise and fall mechanism. Forward is a formal dining area with seating for 10 guests at an expandable table. An added attraction in the galley is a dinette, which offers casual meals throughout the day.
Outdoor spaces are ideal for relaxing in the fresh air with an aft deck boasting a teak table and built-in upholstered bench seating for 10, while the sun deck offers a helm station, bar, fridge and barbecue grill, along with a central Jacuzzi and a sliding hard top.
Her top speed is 28 knots and her power comes from two 2,450hp MTU 16V2000M93 diesel engines.
