Burgess sells sailing superyacht Valquest with McMaster Yachts

31 March 2014 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

More from Burgess, as they acted for buyer and seller in the sale of the 40m sailing yacht Valquest, with McMaster Yachts also acting for the seller.

Designed by Dubois, Valquest was launched in late 2009 by Bloemsma Van Breemen and is Lloyds classed and MCA compliant. She’s equipped with dual head stays, a rollaway boom with captive winches enabling all sail handling systems and hydraulically operated running backstays.

The interior features modern design with a high quality mahogany and white leather finish throughout. The layout comprises a large master stateroom and three further guest suites aft. A very large split level saloon provides a focal point for the living space, while forward and completely separate from the guest areas, six crew members are provided for in three generous cabins. Valquest was asking €12.95 million.
