The 24.22 metre sailing yacht Malizia, listed for sale by James Lloyd at Edmiston & Company, and Matt Albert at YPI, has had a €300,000 price reduction.
She was built in GRP by Italy’s Perini Navi yard to a design by Murphy and Nye and was delivered in 1989 to Prince Rainier III of Monaco as the last in the yard’s line of 25 metre superyachts. In 2010 she had an extensive period of refit work and upgrades, including having her engine room totally stripped out and rebuilt, all the soft furnishings replaced and WiFi internet access installed.
Malizia offers comfortable accommodation for six guests in three cabins consisting of a master suite with a king size bed, a double with a queen size bed and a twin, all with en suite shower facilities. In addition, there are quarters for three crew.
The saloon spans the entire beam of this yacht for sale and is decorated with 19th century marine paintings and Persian rugs. To starboard the large settee comfortably seats six guests around the teak table while to port is another seating area featuring an entertainment centre including a stereo CD player and an LCD television screen with a DVD player.
The large aft guest cockpit is ideal for al fresco entertaining and includes a bar, an ice maker and an electric barbecue. This area remains protected with an awning even under sail. Under power, a single 270hp Caterpillar diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of 9 knots.
Lying in Olbia, Sardinia, yacht for sale Malizia is now down to €1.2 million.
