The 55 metre motor yacht Engelberg has been sold by Moran Yacht & Ship in an in-house deal.
Engelberg was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Amels to a design by Tim Heywood and launched in May 2013 as the first in the yard's successful Limited Edition 180 series. An interior by Enzo Enea is inspired by the Mediterranean and features earth tones with accommodation for 10 guests in five cabins, all with entertainment systems and en suite bathroom facilities.
The master suite, forward on the upper deck, features an imposing wooden Metrica partition: it forms the front to a desk and communications hub on the aft side and the headboard of a king-sized bed on the forward side. The cabin offers 180-degree views forward, a customised fold-down balcony on the port side, a chic, curving seating area starboard, plus a grand bathroom with spa pool and mirrored dressing room aft.
In the large main saloon, the formal dining area opens on either side onto folding balconies, allowing guests to enjoy great service without missing the spectacular views.
The immense sun deck is laid out to provide lounging and social areas conceived for day and night. Plush circular seats aft lead to a long low table and seating area and bar. Between the bar and forward Jacuzzi and sun-lounging area, a carbon fibre sliding door can be closed against the breeze or to create two separate areas. The forward sun deck features sun beds and a curved cushioned swivel seat with a view down over the sunbathing area on the bridge deck and the bow. The Jacuzzi and bar can be set up for all moods with customised lighting and sound systems. Twin 16V 2000 M70 MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles
