The 86 metre motor yacht Chakra has had a central agency change, now listed for sale by Konstantinos Ladas at SSH Maritime and Kent Chamberlain and John Cohen at Merle Wood & Associates.
Originally delivered by Dutch yard Van Der Werf in 1963 as a commercial vessel, Chakra underwent a conversion at British yard Devonport Yachts in 1998, emerging as a fully fledged superyacht.
Accommodation comes for up to 42 guests in 21 cabins, featuring a full-beam VIP with his and hers en-suites. Crew quarters house a team of up to 43. Her refreshed interiors feature light upholstery to contrast with the hardwood decks on this yacht for sale.
Stretching over a vast five decks, Chakra has an impressive 12.5 metre beam and a total interior volume of 2,083GT. Although she has commercial origins, the yacht still boasts exterior amenities such as a dedicated yoga area and an aft deck spa pool on the bridge deck.
Moving inside, guests will find a beauty parlour, massage room and gym as well as a spacious tender garage housing six Yamaha Wave Runners, two RIBs and a 12 metre Sessa dayboat.
Powered by a single MAN B&W Alpha engine providing 3,996hp, Chakra is powered to a top speed of 15 knots, with a spectacular range in excess of 10,000 nautical miles at ten knots.
