The 60 metre motor yacht Podium, listed for sale by Stuart Larsen at Fraser, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Joe Foggia at Northrop & Johnson.
Designed by Espen Oeino, Podium was built in steel and aluminium by German yard Lurssen to Lloyds class and MCA coded with delivery in 2006. In 2015 she was taken to Feadship where she underwent a substantial refit, bringing her up to as-new quality. Designer Francois Zuretti took full advantage of her huge volume to create luxurious accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins.
The master suite is on the main deck while the VIP suite is below decks, along with four doubles, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities. A further eight cabins sleep up to 15 crewmembers.
The main saloon aft features large windows which fill the room with natural light, while an extravagant backlit bar in marble separates the comfortable lounge from the dining area. The upper saloon offers guests a bar as well as different seating areas and the aft part can be transformed into a dancefloor. Meanwhile, expansive exterior deck spaces boast a Jacuzzi tub, several al fresco lounging areas, and a beach club.
Her top speed is 15.5 knots and she offers a maximum cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles at 14 knots with power coming from two 1,960hp Caterpillar 3512-B-DITA diesel engines.
Podium was asking $42,500,000 with US duty paid.
