The 15th edition of the Riva Raduni returned to St Tropez between June 29 and 30. Held every two years in collaboration with Monaco Boat Service, the event was organised by Lia Riva, the daughter of Carlo Riva, and centres around a friendly rally between Monaco and St Tropez.
Seventeen Riva yachts were registered for the event this year, ranging from the 8.2-metre Iseo to the 28.5-metre Argo 90.
The first day opened with a briefing to provide a forecast update, which was particularly important for this year's edition due to inclement weather. Strong winds and big seas meant that some of the registered boats weren't able to reach St Tropez, but the Diable 68 that hosted BOAT International made it safely to the final destination.
Participants then headed to Pampelonne Beach for lunch, followed by a dinner organised in the garden of the Musée de l'Annonciade, a venue in the heart of St-Tropez next to the harbour. The museum was open to all guests and it marked a good opportunity to discover art by Signac, Marquet, Matisse, and others.
The following day opened with a brunch on the St-Tropez Lounge Club rooftop followed by the Concours d'Elegance, which had an Olympics theme this year. Guests were then driven to Cannes for a Range Rover experience organised in a villa, which was tailored for prospective clients to see what customisation options were available for new Range Rover models.
The evening then wound down with a gala dinner at the Yacht Club de Monaco. With live music and entertainment, it was opportunity to close a weekend of festivities with the distribution of prizes to all participants.
The Riva Raduni will return in 2026 for the 16th edition.
