The venue
The event took place at the Barcelona Maritime Museum, with guests welcomed in the museum’s iconic Main Slipway, situated beside a replica of John of Austria's Royal Galley. During the evening, Wally unveiled a model of the new wallywind110 sailing yacht, while Persico presented a model of the 43.5-metre Kauris IV. Each sponsor also showcased their latest projects on gallery-style boards displayed at the venue.
The evening began with welcome champagne accompanied by traditional Spanish hors d'oeuvres, followed by a seated dinner. As guests settled into their seats, they enjoyed a fireside chat between BOAT’s editor-in-chief Stewart Campbell and Shirley Robertson OBE. The conversation provided exclusive insights into the 37th America’s Cup racing, along with Robertson's predictions for the final. Throughout dinner, guests were treated to entertainment by a local Spanish guitar duo.
