Excitement is building ahead of the 19th edition of the World Superyacht Awards, which will take place in Venice, Italy in three weeks' time (3-4 May). Held in association with Acquera Club and The Glenrothes, the awards celebrate the most outstanding superyachts from the past year.
This year, the event will return to the cosmopolitan city of Venice for a two-day programme, including welcome cocktails on the first evening, followed by a black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony held the following day. The World Superyacht Awards will culminate with the World Superyacht Awards after-party, where winners of a prestigious Neptune will be able to celebrate their success.
The World Superyacht Awards are unique as they are completely independent and judged by a panel of current and former superyacht owners. In total, there are 14 categories, which include Best Refitted and Rebuilt Yachts, plus awards for Motor Yacht of the Year, Sailing Yacht of the Year, Legacy and Voyager's Awards. With 2024 nominees from shipyards around the world – including Finland, the Netherlands and the UAE – and many notable new launches from the past 12 months, this year’s awards are set to be highly competitive.
There are still a handful of tickets available to attend in person. The final tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and those associated with the nominated yachts will be prioritised.
