We are thrilled to announce Parkway England as official sponsor for the BOAT Artistry and Craft Awards, our annual celebration of craftspeople and artisans creating beautiful objects on board superyachts.
A leading force in superyacht interior and exterior furniture manufacturing, Parkway England has collaborated with some of the industry's most prestigious design studios and shipyards, including Lürssen, Feadship and Amels. For over 30 years, Parkway has built a unrivalled reputation, consistently delivering unique custom furniture that meets the high standards of an elite clientele.
At the core of Parkway’s success is its team of over 40 in-house, highly skilled artisans whose heritage and craft lies in bespoke furniture manufacturing using age-old techniques in marquetry, cabinetry, upholstery and luxury furniture, along with technical designers and specialist finish experts. Parkway's skilled professionals are unique in that they merge traditional British craftsmanship with modern production techniques, creating pieces that are not only aesthetically unique but also built for the demands of the marine environments.
As a white label brand, Parkway operates with a level of discretion that has earned it a loyal following among the industry’s top designers. Clients enjoy the privacy that comes with this approach, allowing designers and their clients to attend workshop meetings and inspection tours as needed throughout the process.
Parkway England’s CEO, Jay Rushton said of the news, "We're thrilled to partner with BOAT International’s Artistry and Crafts Awards 2025. With over 40 artisans in our team, exceptional craft and artistry is the core of our business. As this talent becomes increasingly rare in the UK, we feel it’s vital to support these awards and nurture emerging talent at the grassroots level."
Rushton joins the esteemed panel of judges including CEO of QEST, Deborah Pocock; UK contemporary art dealer, Adrian Sassoon; cofounder of Nature Squared, Lay Koon Tan; yacht designer, Andrew Winch and BOAT International's group creative director and the awards' chair, Christopher Whale.
Whale concluded, "From handmade one-of-a-kind objects to cabinets that take years to create, exceptional craftsmanship offers an opportunity to elevate an interior and turn it into something truly bespoke and personal. The artisans and craftspeople behind these remarkable pieces often go unrecognised, and so the aim of the Artistry and Craft Awards is to shine a light on these unsung heroes of superyacht design."
Finalists for all three awards categories: Excellence in Craftsmanship, Outstanding Collaborative Creation and Emerging Artisan of the Year will be announced on 20 November. Winners will be announced at the Superyacht Design Festival 2025 in Kitzbuhel, Austria.
