Each week we take a closer look at the world’s finest superyachts for charter. This week, BOAT steps on board the 75.5-metre Oceanco Wheels at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show, which stands in immaculate condition following a 2022 refit...
Instantly recognisable, the sweeping white superstructure and blue hull of the 75.5-metre Wheels represent an important era for Oceanco. Delivered in 2008, this was a time when the Dutch yard was making waves in the market with hugely impressive projects like Alfa Nero and Nirvana. Volume, performance and style meant these projects were destined to do well on the charter market. And following a host of recent upgrades, Wheels is looking as good as ever.
As guests board this yacht for charter, they'll be met with more of a beachy feel than anything too opulent. Textured ceilings and plenty of lounge space make her extremely welcoming, Her interiors were only recently upgraded, filled with details and flooded with natural light. She is also a family-friendly superyacht, with a proven track record of entertaining younger charter guests thanks to her excellent crew.

Designed by Sam Sorgiovanni, the mind behind Kaos and Nirvana, Wheels delivers on the three vital components of a successful charter: relaxation, entertainment, and adventure. The yacht has a staggering seven decks and nearly 2,000GT of space and guarantees a memorable escape all year round.
The 75.5-metre boasts a meticulously maintained design – refreshed in her most recent 2022 refit – ideal for large families, groups, and corporate charters. Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a spectacular split-level master suite. Bathed in natural light, with a mezzanine-style study, the master has panoramic forward views over the bow and a huge skylight that floods the space with natural light. Small details bring the space to life, such as panels of fossils on the wall and textured woven handrails.
Moving outdoors, Wheels also benefits from a new cinema, perfect for family movie nights under the stars. This winter, guests can also unwind in the hot tub – and switch out to the surrounding sunpads – while taking in views of the Caribbean coastline. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the large, fully equipped gym and intimate massage room, which is looked after by the dedicated onboard masseuse to ensure total relaxation on board.
Life on board Wheels
Operated by a sizeable crew of 21, guests will have their needs met before they even have to ask. The crew have a huge skillset between them but are experts in sports, with wakeboarding, kitesurfing, sailing, diving, yoga and fitness instructors on board. Stepping into the main saloon, guests will be welcomed with the yacht's signature cocktail, the "Hot Wheels", which is made with chilli tequila, Cointreau and fresh blood orange juice.
The 75.5-metre also boasts a flexible layout, which makes her a top choice for family charters as things can be chopped and changed at the drop of a hat to cater to younger guests. The main saloon can be transformed into a disco, with retractable ceiling panels revealing lights and smoke machines for a party atmosphere.
Wheels underwent significant upgrades in 2022, including the installation of diesel particulate filters on all generators, ensuring cleaner emissions and a greener footprint.
For those looking to explore the water, Wheels has an array of water toys and water sports equipment. The lower deck is dedicated to this adventure zone, with Jet Skis, wave runners, SeaBobs and tenders on hand for some high-octane fun. New additions to the fleet include a Hobie Cat sailing catamaran and a seven-meter Cobra guest tender.
