Genoa-based shipyard Tankoa Yachts has announced three new-build projects sold in recent weeks, with delivery scheduled between 2024 and 2025. This includes a full-custom project to be unveiled at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
The two other hulls are in-build, having already begun construction on speculation. The first sale belongs to the sixth hull in the 49.8-metre S501 series and is scheduled for a 2024 delivery to a European owner.
Registering at just under 500GT thanks to her light alloy aluminium hull, the S501 series has Francesco Paszkowski at the helm for both exterior and interior design. The buyer will be able to choose between a traditional and hybrid propulsion system for their model, with the maximum achievable speed being 18 knots. The fifth hull in the series, Grey, is set to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show this year.
Tankoa Yachts’ second sale comes from its 45-metre T450 series. The shipyard’s first series under 50 metres, this unit was sold to a South American owner for delivery in 2025.
Built in steel and aluminium, the T450 unit will see its exterior and interiors designed by Giorgio M Cassetta. Accommodation is across six “full-sized” cabins despite the model’s more compact design, with a L-shaped owner’s cabin located on the main deck. Standard features include a main saloon with 270-degree ocean views, a sundeck with a hot tub and bar, a spacious indoor-outdoor beach club and the ability to customise a pool at beach club level.
The trio of sales means that no more delivery slots will be available with Tankoa Yachts until 2026. The three new sales make a total of nine projects in the works, according to BOATPro.
