BOAT International is delighted to announce its involvement as media partner for the Superyacht Charities Ball, taking place this Saturday 8 March at the St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton, UK.
Now in its 10th year, the annual event brings together the great and the good of the superyacht industry to raise thousands for worthy charities.
This year’s worthy recipients include Scaramouche, a ground breaking youth sailing and yachting project based in an inner city state school in North London, which is changing lives through sailing. Oarsome Chance helps disadvantaged young people in the Portsmouth, Gosport and Havant areas by using the powerful incentive of sport in combination with vocational training. BATS (Blind at Sea) provides sea-based activities for blind and visually impaired people in Cornwall. Rounding up the list of beneficiaries is SYC’s grassroot charity Cash 4 Causes, which aims to help the growth of smaller non-government funded not-for-profit organisations.
This year, guests will have the opportunity to win some incredible prizes during a Live Auction including an unmissable, action-packed, two-day Superstars event at the five-star hotel Gleneagles, hosted by The Good, The Bad and The Ugly rugby legends Mike Tindall, James Haskell and Alex Payne.
In addition, there will be Silent Auction featuring many more fantastic prizes on offer. An after-dinner raffle completes the evening’s fundraising. Sponsored by Cecil Wright, the premium prizes include a Cornish sailing experience, a family weekend grandstand ticket for the Sail GP Portsmouth Event and other prizes including a Maritime Skills Academy training voucher worth £1,000.
Superyacht Charities Ball 2025 is sponsored by Bergman Design House, LA Marine, ISC, Peninsula and Dohlé Yachts.
