Italian designer SaturaStudio has taken the opportunity of the Monaco Yacht Show to present its latest concept, the 82-metre Nami.
The yacht is named after the Japanese for "wave" and has a themed design with sinuous exterior lines and walkaround decks that encourage "flow" between the indoors and outdoors. Nami has been engineered by Rome-based HPE Studio and is expected to reach a top speed of 18 knots and a range of 6,200 nautical miles.
Accommodation would include an upper deck dedicated to the owner, with an indoor and outdoor lounge, full-height windows and walkaround decks.
A sheltered outdoor area occupies the main deck aft, arranged with a dining space, lounge and "unique relaxation area" suspended above the lower deck's glass walls. The latter features sunbathing sofas arranged around a central firepit.
The sundeck also offers a sunbathing area beside its forward-facing Jacuzzi, while aft, guests will find a bar area, freestanding furniture and a winter garden with a modular sunshade system that can open or close in different seasons.
Meanwhile, the beach club features a pool and gym with 180-degree views, both directly connected to the lower deck guest cabins. Fold-down bulwarks increase the usable space and create a "floating terrace". An infinity pool on the bow completes the list of leisure amenities on board.
SaturaStudio recently shared another concept with BOAT International, named Bimyou. The yacht's tapered profile and metallic-blue paint job are inspired by "movement, wind and speed".
