Viareggio-based shipyard Rossinavi has announced the delivery of its first hybrid superyacht, the 49.9-metre No Stress Two. She is the first vessel to be delivered under the shipyard's BluE initiative.
No Stress Two has been equipped with five different operating modes to maximise energy (whether at anchor or underway) and AI technology that monitors consumption when cruising in electric mode.
The yacht marks Rossinavi's ninth collaboration with Enrico Gobbi - Team for Design and shares the same sporty character as seen on previous projects such as EIV and Flying Dagger. A slender profile matches her fast-displacement hull form and her overall design takes inspiration from the automotive world, with "long curves always in tension and streamlined bridges that recall the wings of a jet," according to Rossinavi. Naval architecture is owed to Arrabito Naval Architects.
The owner's brief required a spacious interior that connects the inside with the surrounding environment, which was achieved through openings on both the hull and superstructure and through the use of floor-to-ceiling windows. Her interiors, also by Enrico Gobbi - Team for Design, has been described by the shipyard as "minimal but with accurate architectural details" combined with "natural and prestigious materials." Initial photos reveal the master cabin's contemporary, monochromatic colour scheme, matte wall panelling and soft backlighting.
On-deck highlights include a spacious, walkaround bow with a 10-square-metre pool and the aft cockpit DJ station, installed per the owner's request and overlooking No Stress Two's open beach club.
“No Stress is a hybrid vessel characterised by a strong sporty attitude. It is a high-performance super yacht with dual fuel: diesel and battery. Artificial Intelligence allows you to enjoy the electric experience on board to the fullest," said chief operating officer of Rossinavi Federico Rossi. "This is only the beginning, as this technology will be optimised next year, revealing its fullest expression with the launch of the Sea Cat."
Powered by twin MTU engines and two electric motors (charged via the generators and battery pack), No Stress Two can reach a maximum speed of 20.5 knots.
According to BOATPro, Rossinavi's Sea Cat catamaran is scheduled for delivery in September 2024. Another anticipated delivery is its first explorer yacht, the 59.4-metre, scarlet-hulled Akula.
