The 49.5-metre Project 717 has been seen for the first time on transport to Feadship's outfitting facility in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. Delivery is scheduled for 2026 with the build being overseen by Edmiston.
Very little is known about Project 717. The available imagery reveals angular, low-profiled exterior lines, including a vertical bow and what is likely to become a long, narrow strip of glazing across her superstructure.
According to BOATPro, the yacht has been built entirely in aluminium and has a volume of 484GT. Her naval architecture is owed to Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects.
Feadship dominated the news cycle last month with the delivery of the 91.8-metre Drizzle and the debut of its first solar-powered build, the 59.5-metre B. The Dutch shipyard has 16 yachts currently on order or under construction, the largest of which is the 118.8-metre Project 821 – the world's first fuel-cell-powered superyacht.
