Brazilian yard MCP Yachts has announced the sale of its largest yacht project to date. Measuring 48 metres, the project has been commissioned by a repeat client and will be built at the yard's facilities in São Paulo.
Details remain confidential at this stage, though MCP Yachts took this opportunity to reveal details on two new concepts designed in collaboration with Dutch studio Vripack.
The first, Project Venice, is a 42-metre, "charter-optimised" yacht with flexible cabin layouts, accommodation for 12 guests and leisure amenities including an upper deck Jacuzzi and main deck swimming pool. Project Elysium is the second concept, measuring 46 metres and characterised by a wide, clean bow dedicated to a helipad, with storage for a tender and twin Jet Skis hidden underneath.
"MCP Yachts is excited to be starting the construction of our largest yacht ever, and to be presenting two new projects that reflect our continued collaboration with Vripack," said Manoel Chaves, founder of MCP Yachts. "At the same time, Project Venice and Project Elysium showcase our continued commitment to innovative design and unparalleled luxury."
This follows the delivery of the 40.7-metre Hygge. Also designed by Vripack, she boasts the largest volume for a full aluminium motor yacht built in South America.
