Seventh hull in Mangusta 104 REV series hits the water

26 June 2024 • Written by Gemma Harris

Italian builder Mangusta Yachts, a brand of Overmarine Group, has launched the seventh hull in its 31.8-metre entry-level series, the Mangusta 104 REV.

The yacht's sporty, slender lines result from a collaboration between the shipyard's engineering department and the Lobanov Design team.

Built in composite at Mangusta Yachts' Viareggio site, this hull is equipped with two Kamewa waterjets coupled with twin MTU engines. Performance-wise, the yacht reaches a maximum speed of 35 knots "in the utmost comfort and without the slightest vibrations," according to the yard. The yacht also has a cruising speed of 30 knots and a range of 320 nautical miles.

With its shallow draught, the yacht is well-suited for cruising locations such as the Bahamas and the Hamptons. Mangusta Americas' president Stefano Arlunno said: "This unit is the fifth built for the American market, bearing witness to the great success of this model."

The motor yacht is slated for delivery in spring 2025. The launch of this seventh unit comes on the heels of its predecessor, which hit the water just three months prior.
