Italian builder Mangusta Yachts, a brand of Overmarine Group, has delivered the seventh hull in its entry-level Mangusta 104 REV series. Named Glida, the 31.8-metre is now anchored in Antibes, France, according to BOATPro.
Construction began in 2022 at the shipyard's site in Viareggio, Italy. Her sporty, slender lines were created by Lobanov Design in collaboration with the shipyard's engineering department.
Glida is equipped with two Kamewa waterjets coupled with twin MTU engines for a maximum speed of 35 knots "in the utmost comfort and without the slightest vibrations," according to the yard. The yacht also has a cruising speed of 30 knots and a range of 320 nautical miles.
With its shallow draught, the yacht is well-suited for cruising locations such as the Bahamas and the Hamptons. Mangusta Americas' president Stefano Arlunno said: "This unit is the fifth built for the American market, bearing witness to the great success of this model."
The news follows the launch of the fourth Mangusta Oceano 50. Highlights include floor-to-ceiling windows, a 6.5-metre-long pool and a "stylish" cockpit located above the garage.
