American shipyard Hargrave has sent the 35.3 metre E116 into the water at its facilities in Antalya, Turkey.
The yacht was built for an experienced owner and E116 marks the second Hargrave that he has commissioned. He and his family will operate the yacht in the Mediterranean this summer before shipping the boat home in time for the festive season in Fort Lauderdale.
The tri-deck motor yacht has a GT of 320 and a beam of almost eight metres, allowing plenty of space for her guests to kick back and relax on board.
Fort Lauderdale-based studio Yacht Interiors by Shelley is responsible for the yacht’s interior styling, while J.B. Hargrave Yacht Design has penned the yacht’s exterior. The naval architecture of the E116 comes from Jack Sarin.
Renderings of the yacht’s interior suggest a cool, contemporary theme with masculine touches. The use of marble and dark woods is not dissimilar to the look of current Hargrave flagship, 56 metre Baba’s.
Exterior areas volunteer plenty of room for space for soaking up the sun, with a large sundeck equipped with a bar, TV facilities and a forward-facing Jacuzzi. Meanwhile, guests can also make use of a foredeck sunpad and aft deck dining areas.
Her five-cabin layout includes an on-deck master suite, sleeping a total of ten guests. Meanwhile, crew quarters sleep four.
The yacht is set to begin sea trials in the coming weeks. Twin Caterpillar engines are expected to give her a top speed of 20 knots.
