The first Hatteras 100 RPH superyacht has been photographed during sea trials.

The new 30.48m composite-built, raised pilothouse motor yacht will be the new flagship for the US builder Hatteras, which was recently sold by its parent company.

Designed by Hatteras' in-house team, she features modern lines and offers a generous interior volume and spacious outside living spaces, including a large hardtop-covered sun deck. The standard layout will accommodate eight guests in a full-beam master, VIP stateroom and two twin cabins on the lower deck. An option is available for a fifth cabin - the master suite - on the main deck in place on the large, American-style kitchen.

Hull No 1 is powered by twin 1,900hp Caterpillar C-32 engines, deliver a cruising speed of 19 knots and a range of 680 nautical miles. A 'muscle' version with twin 2,600hp MTU 16V 2000 engines will provide a top speed of 29 knots.

The Hatteras 100 RPH will make her debut at the Fort Lauderdale boat show this fall.
