Extra Yachts, a brand of ISA Yachts, has launched the third unit in its Extra X96 Triplex series. The model was sold in November 2021 by Igor Cherentaev of Aberton Yachts and now joins its sisterships Ohana and Anvilugi on the water.
The Extra X96 Triplex, which was first unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival last year, features design by Francesco Guida in collaboration with Palumbo Superyachts while the interiors have been handled by Milan-based design studio Hot Lab.
The third unit, named Andromeda, can accommodate a total of 10 guests across five cabins with a master suite positioned forward on the main deck that spans the yacht's 7.6-metre beam, which according to the shipyard is the largest in its size category.
Power comes from three Volvo Penta IPS engines for a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
The Extra Yachts range now has three different lines: Fast, Loft and Triplex, the latter of which is described by the builder as a "comfortable, spacious, refined boat, designed with no boundaries for fashion and technical solutions."
The fourth unit in the Extra X96 Triplex series was sold in April 2023, also by Igor Cherentaev at Aberton Yachts, and construction is underway.
