Revealed: 105m 'champagne-green' explorer concept with underwater observatory

Designer Alejandro Crespo of Daroca Design has revealed a new 105 metre explorer concept named Equilibrium, in partnership with Brythonic Yachts.

With naval engineering from Kobus Naval design, the concept is built entirely in steel paired with a “champagne-green” hull. According to Brythonic Yachts, the concept's name, Equilibrium, was inspired by the "optimal balance between her explorer yacht features and pleasure yacht luxuries".

Equilibrium will make full use of the 16.5 metre beam and is kitted out for adventure. The bridge deck is equipped with a 13.6 x 16 metre helipad surface, designed for the landing of various models of Airbus ACH, made for exploring the exotic destinations Equilibrium visits. A hangar is available for protection from the elements.

Equilibrium’s design was “meticulously thought out to fit in any type of environment, from Antarctica to the Caribbean.”

The owner’s deck has an outdoor Jacuzzi surrounded by sun beds, alongside two bars. Elsewhere, the upper deck has a large terrace with additional seating next to a fountain that falls like a waterfall to the main pool of the yacht.

On the aft deck the night club and beach club line up next to each other, with access between the two spaces provided by three folding doors. A unique feature is the nightclub’s roof, which is the glass bottom of the large outdoor pool on the main deck.

Meanwhile, the beach club includes a large Jacuzzi integrated within the deck alongside two bars and a lounge area.

Other on board features include a scuba diving centre on the starboard side and an underwater observatory to port.
