Luminance

Credit: Dr Duu

Builder: Lurssen
Length: 138.8m
Year: 2024

The 138.8-metre Luminance takes the crown as the largest superyacht spotted in Cannes for the famed Film Festival this year. Delivered in 2024, her navy and silver six-deck profile was born from the boards of Espen Øino, in what marked the 30th collaboration between the designer and the shipyard. Her interior design is the work of Francois Zuretti, though all details have remained a closely guarded secret since she hit the water, with only images revealing her two helipads, large aft deck swimming pool, upper deck Jacuzzi and expansive beach club. She is ranked number 26 in the largest yachts in the world, according to BOATPro.

Multiverse

Builder: Kleven
Length: 116.2m
Year: 2018

One of the most travelled superyachts for the past two years in a row, Multiverse is not out of place in the heart of the Mediterranean this week. The mammoth yacht hit the water in 2018 after four years in construction, originally commissioned by New Zealand businessman Graeme Hart. Her rugged exterior design was developed in collaboration with naval architecture firm Oscar Mike, with British-based studio RWD drafted in to create the interior decor. Highlights include a top-deck helicopter hangar, a spacious swimming pool, a cinema, a spa and accommodation for up to 66 guests. She is the third-largest explorer yacht in the world.

Renaissance

Builder: Freire
Length: 112m
Year: 2023

The largest superyacht built in Spain, the flagship of her builder and the third-most expensive superyacht for charter in the world (currently available with Burgess from €3,000,000 per week)is the 112-metre Renaissance. One of the largest projects designed throughout by British studio Bannenberg & Rowell, she features remarkable interiors, including a double-height dining saloon, a private owner's deck and accommodation for up to 36 guests. Amenities are unsurprisingly also extensive, including an entire spa deck with a fitness centre, hot and cold plunge pools, a steam room and sauna, treatment rooms, as well as hair and beauty salons.

Ambassador

Builder: Feadship
Length: 110m
Year: 2018

Ambassador was launched in 2018 as Feadship's largest new build and then flagship - a title she held until 2024 with the launch of the 118-metre Launchpad, which in turn was surpassed the following year in 2025 by the 118.8-metre Breakthrough. A notably secretive yacht throughout her lifespan, little is known about the 110-metre, though her design (both inside and out) is from the boards of Michael Leach Design. Her profile is hard to miss against the Cannes backdrop, with her eye-like curves amidships and tall, demanding mast.

Amadea

Breaking news, auction of 106m seized superyacht Amadea opens

Builder: Lurssen
Length: 106.1m
Year: 2017

The striking German-built Amadea, designed by Espen Øino with interiors by Francois Zuretti, offers features, amenities and accommodation aplenty on board her 106.1 metres of length, 4,402GT of volume and tall six decks. She is a regular in BOAT International's "best" round-ups (including the best bars on board, the best winter gardens on board and the best superyacht fireplaces) and features an interior decorated with the likes of a hand-painted Michelangelo-style cloudscape on the ceiling - though her curved side overhangs and striking albatross figurehead make her quickly recognised on the water. Once the centre of a fraught three-year legal process, Amadea hit headlines in 2025 when it was revealed that she had been sold at auction.

Vava II

Builder: Devonport
Length: 96m
Year: 2012

The 96-metre Vava II was the largest yacht ever built in the UK at the time of her completion and the final yacht to emerge from Devonport Yachts before the yard’s acquisition by Pendennis Shipyard. British studio RWD penned her exterior, while her interiors are from the boards of Rémi Tessier. Owned by Swiss entrepreneur and philanthropist Ernesto Bertarelli, Vava II was conceived with a strong focus on exploration and education, and features a dedicated “school room” which can be converted into a floating laboratory. She has been highly secretive since her delivery.

Lady S

Builder: Feadship
Length: 93m
Year: 2019

Reportedly commissioned by Daniel Snyder, the previous owner of the Washington Commanders, Feadship's award-winning 93-metre Lady S also joins the lineup in Cannes as another of the world’s most expensive yachts available to charter (available with Edmiston from €1,600,000 per week). Michael Leach Design penned her slender, glass-lined profile, while Reymond Langton Design was chosen to complete her interior - both of which helped her win a World Superyacht Award in 2020. Standout features on board include a two-deck IMAX theatre, a fully certified helipad, a generous swimming pool and an array of sports facilities for golf, basketball, volleyball and football.

Ecstasea

Builder: Feadship
Length: 85.9m
Year: 2004

A more classical-looking addition to the lineup in Cannes is Feadship's Ecstasea. Despite once frequently spotted accommodating celebrities and models alike, the 85.9-metre has remained notably private over the years, keeping her interior, designed by Terence Disdale, under the radar. Her cream Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects exterior, however, is recognisable for its slender yet stacked profile, expansive open aft decks and glass-less bow.

Alfa Nero

Builder: Oceanco
Length: 81.3m
Year: 2007

Alfa Nero joined the brokerage market in 2025 (now listed for sale with POA by Northrop & Johnson and Fraser), following an all-encompassing refit. She remains one of the most iconic Oceanco's on the water, not least for her distinctive black and white Nuvolari Lenard profile and world’s first "statement" aft pools, which can be raised to convert into a helideck and dance floor when empty. Interiors by Alberto Pinto are bright, ornate and filled with pop art. She last hit headlines for her auction in 2023 following abandonment in Antigua.
