The 49.9-metre Turquoise motor yacht Mosaique, listed for sale with Stuart Larsen of Fraser and Merle Wood and John Cohen of Merle Wood & Associates, has received a price drop of $1,400,000.
Designed by Dubois Naval Architects, Mosaique was delivered in 2002, constructed in steel and aluminium by the Turkish yard to ABS class and MCA compliance. She was the recipient of an extensive refit in 2015 and a hull repaint in 2020 which upgraded her profile to a striking 'Marlin Blue' colour. Her most recent works, which included a significant interior refresh and her 20-year ABS class survey, were completed in 2022.
Donald Starkey conceived Mosaique's original interior design and layout, although her interiors were completely transformed by Kristina Ferrand in 2022. Starkey’s elegant layout and boiserie were preserved, but Ferrand reimagined the space with a casual-elegant “Hamptons Beach” style, using white woods to create the feeling of space paired with soft neutral fabrics and blue accents.
Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests in six cabins including a "huge" VIP suite on the main deck and a full-beam master suite with private study, large Honey-onyx bathroom, and his-and-her dressing rooms. Meanwhile, there are three double cabins and a twin cabin on the lower deck. There are also quarters for a crew of 12.
The main deck saloon – decorated with stately wooden panelling on its deckheads and fitted with "oversized" windows – has comfortable seating, a bar and an entertainment centre with TV and games room. Sliding glass doors lead from the lounge to a formal dining room with seating for up to 12 guests.
Outside, there is an expansive aft deck with built-in seating, al fresco dining area and steps descending to the swim platform. At the foredeck there is another open-air social space fitted with sunpads.
Her sundeck is home to a whirlpool surrounded by sunpads and loungers, a bar, open-air gym equipment and two tables for informal, al fresco meals. Meanwhile, there is another outdoor dining area located on the bridge deck aft, with seating for up to 16 guests around an oval teak table shaded by the sundeck above.
The 589GT yacht for sale's twin 1,100hp Caterpillar engines (which were rebuilt during her refit) translate into a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 14 knots, cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots. She is also equipped with Quantum zero speed stabilisers at anchor.
Mosaique is now asking $12,500,000, currently lying in West Palm Beach ahead of her attendance at the upcoming Palm Beach International Boat Show.
