The 30.18 sailing yacht Susanne af Stockholm has been sold with Ocean Independence and Camper & Nicholsons working together to seal the deal.
Built in aluminium by French yard Trehard to a design by Gilles Vaton, she was launched in 1990 and was previously named Whither. Accommodation is for eight guests in four staterooms. All are doubles and each has a television screen and en suite bathroom facilities.
In 2008, she was totally reconfigured into a modern, comfortable, seaworthy and high-performance sail yacht. All appliances were replaced, she was fitted with new engines and the interior was replaced with plentiful use of black American walnut She has terrific potential for private cruising or for charter. The dining room is spacious and is linked to the main saloon which has a 39-inch television screen and a Bose stereo surround sound system.
The expansive sundeck provides an ideal place to soak up the sun and enjoy time with friends and family. Under power, her top speed is 10 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 1,900 nautical miles at 10 knots with power coming from two 230hp Steyr diesel engines.
