The 34.5 metre Sea Axe support vessel Ghost, listed for sale by Thom Conboy and Chris Collins at Ocean Independence, has had a further €1,180,000 price cut.
Built in aluminium by Dutch yard Damen, this yacht for sale was delivered in 2012 and carries four crew while three 1,400hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 16 knots.
The Sea Axe Fast Yacht Support function is a logical product development from the Sea Axe’s Fast Crew Supply range. Damen subsidiary Amels first identified the potential for sale into the superyacht market and then marketed the Sea Axe to superyacht clients. Her axe bow feature is designed to slice through waves and have excellent seakeeping in the most trying of conditions. Yacht support vessels fit easily into the world of superyachts — the hull and superstructure are faired and painted to high standards to produce striking exterior looks and with the decks finished in Bolidt artificial teak.
Ranging in length from 40 to 85 metres, all the Sea Axe yacht support vessels are based on proven Damen platforms, developed to operate safely and reliably in the even most challenging environments. The range starts with the sleek and nimble 40 metre vessel, moving up to the 85 metre large yacht support vessels where carrying capacity is immense.
"We are seeing an increasing number of superyacht owners appreciating the benefits of a well-equipped support vessel customised to their particular requirements," says Rob Luitjendijk from Amels, "This is why we are developing even larger options up to 90 metres in length."
Lying in Cyprus, Ghost is down to €4,900,000.
