Although not formally on the market, the 40 metre motor yacht Anka has been sold with Princess Cyprus representing the seller and Tom George of Tom George Yacht Group acting for the buyer.
Designed by Bernard Olesinski, Anka was built in GRP by UK yard Princess to RINA class and delivered in 2015 as the fifth hull in the yard’s award-winning ‘M40’ series. A custom interior by Fendi Casa uses gloss-finished walnut to create spacious accommodation for up to 12 guests in five cabins consisting of two full-beam master suites, a VIP suite, and two twins plus two Pullman berths, all with entertainment centres, LED television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities.
In the open plan main saloon, a large silver-grey rug defines the lounge area, where two pale-coloured sofas and matching armchairs invite guests to relax in comfort in front of a sophisticated entertainment centre including a 55 inch Samsung television screen and a Harmon Kadron stereo surround sound system. A special feature here is a pair of hydraulic port and starboard hydraulic sea balconies, enabling guests to enjoy morning coffees or evening cocktails in the open air. Forward is a formal dining area with seating for 10 guests and ample storage cabinets.
Up on the large sundeck, al fresco entertainment possibilities are endless, with several chaise lounges, sun pads, two settees, a Jacuzzi spa tub and a full bar, all protected when necessary by an electrical sliding Bimini top.
Twin 3,460hp MTU diesel engines power her to a cruising speed of 15 knots, topping out at 23 knots, and she is fitted with Trac digital fin zero speed stabilizers.
Anka was asking £15,995,000
